Return & Exchange Policy
At Vedic Gemstones, we take great care in selecting and shipping high-quality loose gemstones. Each gemstone is carefully inspected, certified (if applicable), and securely packed before dispatch. Due to the unique and high-value nature of gemstones, our Return & Exchange Policy is designed to balance **customer satisfaction** with the **integrity of the product**.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
๐น Returns or exchanges are accepted **within 7 days of delivery**.
๐น The gemstone must be in its **original, unused, and undamaged condition**.
๐น The original invoice or order confirmation must be provided.
๐น Custom-cut or specially requested gemstones are **non-returnable** unless damaged during transit.
Initiating a Return or Exchange
To request a return or exchange, please contact us via email or phone within 7 days of receiving the order. Include your order number, photos of the gemstone, and reason for return/exchange. Our team will provide instructions for safely returning the gemstone.
Shipping for Returns
๐น Customers are responsible for securely packaging the gemstone when returning it.
๐น We recommend using **insured and trackable courier services** to protect the value of the gemstone.
๐น Do not send gemstones via regular post or uninsured shipments, as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage during transit.
Refunds
๐น Once the returned gemstone is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 7โ10 business days.
๐น Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for purchase.
๐น Shipping charges paid during the original purchase are **non-refundable**.
Fraud Prevention & Authentication
๐น Each gemstone sold by Vedic Gemstones undergoes quality checks, certification, and video-recorded packaging.
๐น Returns will only be accepted if the gemstone is identical in weight, dimensions, and certification to the one originally sold.
๐น Any evidence of tampering, substitution, or misuse will result in rejection of the return/exchange request.
Exchanges
๐น Exchanges are subject to gemstone availability.
๐น If the requested replacement gemstone differs in price, the difference must be paid/refunded accordingly.
๐น Custom-cut or specially requested gemstones are generally **not eligible** for exchange.
Damaged or Defective Gemstones
๐น If a gemstone is received damaged or does not match the invoice/description, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
๐น Provide clear photographs and the order number. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund after verification.
Exceptions & Limitations
๐น Gemstones that have been **altered, damaged, or worn** are not eligible for return.
๐น Returns without proper documentation (invoice/order number) will not be accepted.
๐น This policy applies only to **domestic shipments within India**.
