At Vedic Gemstones, we ensure that your gemstones are shipped securely, fully insured, and delivered safely. This Shipping Policy explains our domestic (India-only) procedures, shipping charges, timelines, courier services, packaging standards, customer responsibilities, and other important information to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

Shipping Charges

📦 Orders below ₹3,000: A flat shipping fee of ₹150 applies.
🚚 Orders ₹3,000 and above: Shipping is free anywhere in India.

Insurance Coverage

Every shipment is fully insured until it reaches you. In the rare event of theft, misplacement, or damage during transit, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund after courier verification. Insurance excludes delays caused by incorrect addresses, customer unavailability, or force majeure events.

Dispatch & Processing Timeline

🕒 Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
📑 Gemstones requiring certification or quality verification may take up to 5–7 business days.
⏰ Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST will be processed the next business day.
📨 Customers receive an email and SMS notification with a tracking number once the order is shipped.

Delivery Timelines

🏙️ Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
🌆 Tier-1 & Tier-2 Cities: 3–6 business days
🏞️ Remote Locations: 5–10 business days
Delivery timelines may vary due to courier availability, regional restrictions, festivals, or natural events.

Courier Partners & Packaging

We work with reputed couriers such as Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, FedEx, and Sequel.
All gemstones are packed in tamper-proof, shock-resistant, and discreet packaging to ensure safe delivery.

Delivery Protocol

On delivery, inspect the parcel before signing. Refuse delivery if the package appears damaged or tampered with. Inform us immediately with photographs. Couriers usually attempt delivery 2–3 times.

Undelivered or Returned Shipments

Returned shipments due to incorrect addresses or refusal may be re-shipped with additional charges. If no response is received within 7 days, the order may be canceled and refunded after deducting actual shipping costs.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

All shipments are insured. Report any loss or damage within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery. Provide your order number and photographs; we will assist in claims and arrange replacement or refund as per courier settlement.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address with an active phone number. Signatures or OTPs are required at delivery, so ensure availability during the estimated timeframe.

Exceptions & Force Majeure

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, certain circumstances beyond our control—such as natural events, regional disruptions, or government restrictions—may affect shipment timelines. In such cases, we will do our best to inform customers and offer suitable alternatives, but we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.
